แก้ปัญหาแบตเตอรี่หมดไวใน Alfa Romeo 156 เมื่อจอดรถทิ้งไว้โดยไม่ได้ขับเพียงแค่ 2-3 วัน ก็ไม่สามารถสตาร์ทรถได้ โดยเรียกกันโดยทั่วๆไปว่า Parasitic drain คือมีโหลดบางอย่างกินกินแส โดยตรงจากแบตเตอรี่รถยนต์ แม้ว่าจะดับเครื่องจอดรถยนต์เรียบร้อยแล้วก็ตาม
วิธีการตรวจสอบไฟแบตเตอรี่รั่ว
- ไม่ต้องบิดกุญแจรถ ไม่ต้องสตาร์ทเครื่องยนต์ ปิดประตูให้สนิท
- ปรับมิเตอร์ที่ย่านการวัด DC 10A ต่อมิเตอร์วัดกระแส อนุกรมเข้ากับขั้วลบของรถยนต์ กับขั้วลบของแบตเตอรี่
- รอจนระบบทำงานปกติ สังเกตุค่ากระแสที่อ่านได้ โดยปกติจะต้องไม่เกิน 50mA
- ถ้ากระแสที่วัดได้เกิน 50mA ให้ไล่ถอดฟิวส์ในรถยนต์ที่ละตัว (ตำแหน่งฟิวส์ดูได้จากด้านล่าง) สังเกตุการเปลี่ยนแปรงค่าของการกินกระแสไฟ ถ้าถอดฟิวส์ตัวไหนแล้วค่ากระแสกลับมาอยู่ในค่าปกติ แสดงว่ามีปัญหาจากอุปกรณ์ในระบบ หลังผ่านฟิวส์ตัวนั้น
- ตรวจสอบระบบ หรือถอดอุปกรณ์ออก ในกรณีของผู้เขียน พบว่าตัว head unit หรือวิทยุติดรถยนต์มีปัญหา กินกระแสอยู่ที่ 400mA หลังจากถอดออกพบว่า การกินกระแสของแบตเตอรี่ กลับมาอยู่ในค่าปกติ คือไม่เกิน 50mA
